Westie Rescue of New York

Welcome to Westie Rescue of New York.  Our mission is to rescue Westies and give them a chance to find their own special loving "furever home". 

Founded in 2008 by a few people dedicated to helping Westies.

What We Do:

Out of the love for West Highland White Terriers "Westies," comes a passion for helping pups in need. 

Regardless of the situation, we strive to reach those pups who need a second and sometimes even a third or fourth chance at a loving home. We are not here to judge, but merely to deal with a situation which puts these dogs in need of help.We will be there for stray, neglected, abused, abandoned Westies regardless of age or condition.

Our mission is simply to:

• Rescue Westies in need.
• Get medical attention to those pups with special conditions.
• Foster pups in a safe, loving environment.
• Educate the general public to the need for spaying and neutering dogs.
• Be a clearinghouse for information for other rescues in and around the state of New York.

None of these lofty ideals can be achieved without the support of our volunteers.  We are in need of caring individuals with special skills, knowledge, time, transportation and/or a simple interest in helping.  You can contribute in many different ways.  Please email us for more information at: volunteers@WestieRescueNY.com
